How the face swap works

Under the hood, the swap runs on a GPU face-editing model: it detects facial landmarks in both photos, transfers the identity from your source face onto the target head, then blends skin tone, grain and lighting so the edit doesn't look pasted on. Nothing installs on your device and there's no watermark on the result.

Yes. You get a number of free swaps each day, with no sign-up and no watermark. The limit resets daily.
What photos work best for a face swap?
A clear, front-facing, well-lit source face and a target photo where the face you want to replace is fully visible. Sunglasses, heavy shadows and extreme angles reduce quality.
Do you keep my photos?
Uploads are sent to the image engine to run the swap, and results expire automatically. We don't build galleries from your photos or use them for anything else.
Can I swap faces into a photo of someone else?
Only use photos of people who have consented. You must tick the consent box before every swap, and impersonation or adult content is not allowed.
Why did my swap fail?
Usually one of three reasons: no clear face in one of the photos, a very extreme angle, or the image engine being busy. Try a sharper front-facing photo, and if it still fails, wait a few minutes and retry.
Does it work on group photos?
Yes - The most prominent face in the target photo gets swapped. For precise control over which face is replaced, crop the target so your chosen person is the clear subject.
