AI Face Swap

Upload a clear photo of a face and the photo you want it swapped into - Built for studio-style portraits, so you can preview a look before you book a real room. The AI blends skin tone, lighting and angle automatically; results usually take about a minute.

How the face swap works

  1. Upload a face photo. Choose a sharp, front-facing photo of the face you want to place. Even lighting and no sunglasses give the cleanest swap.
  2. Upload the target photo. Add the photo you want the face swapped into - A studio portrait, a group shot or any clear photo where the face to replace is visible.
  3. Confirm consent. Tick the consent box to confirm you have permission to use both photos. Swaps that impersonate or mislead are not allowed.
  4. Run the swap and download. Click Swap faces. The AI maps facial landmarks, matches skin tone and lighting, and returns your result in about a minute - Download it straight from the page.

Under the hood, the swap runs on a GPU face-editing model: it detects facial landmarks in both photos, transfers the identity from your source face onto the target head, then blends skin tone, grain and lighting so the edit doesn't look pasted on. Nothing installs on your device and there's no watermark on the result.

What people use it for

  • Previewing a studio concept. Swap yourself into a Korean-style studio portrait to see whether a look suits you before you book a real session - Start with how self photo studios work if the format is new to you.
  • Group-shot rescue. Someone blinked in the best frame? Swap their face in from the shot where they didn't.
  • Trying a new style. Combine it with the AI Photoshoot Generator: generate a styled portrait, then swap your own face into it.
  • Fun with friends. Trade faces for birthdays and group chats - With everyone's consent, always.

How to get a realistic face swap

  • Use a sharp, front-facing source photo. The AI maps facial landmarks - Glasses-free, evenly lit faces swap most cleanly.
  • Match the angle roughly. A face looking left swaps best into a target face also looking left.
  • Pick a clear target face. If the target photo has several people, the most prominent face gets swapped.
  • Studio photos work brilliantly. Even lighting and plain backdrops - Exactly what self photo studios produce - Give the AI less to fight with.

Want the real thing instead of an edit? A studio room all to yourselves gives you unlimited real shots for twenty to forty dollars a person - See what sessions cost and find a studio in our Singapore area guide. And once you have a set of shots you love, line up your favourites in the Photo Strip Maker.

Face swap FAQ

Is this face swap tool really free?

Yes. You get a number of free swaps each day, with no sign-up and no watermark. The limit resets daily.

What photos work best for a face swap?

A clear, front-facing, well-lit source face and a target photo where the face you want to replace is fully visible. Sunglasses, heavy shadows and extreme angles reduce quality.

Do you keep my photos?

Uploads are sent to the image engine to run the swap, and results expire automatically. We don't build galleries from your photos or use them for anything else.

Can I swap faces into a photo of someone else?

Only use photos of people who have consented. You must tick the consent box before every swap, and impersonation or adult content is not allowed.

Why did my swap fail?

Usually one of three reasons: no clear face in one of the photos, a very extreme angle, or the image engine being busy. Try a sharper front-facing photo, and if it still fails, wait a few minutes and retry.

Does it work on group photos?

Yes - The most prominent face in the target photo gets swapped. For precise control over which face is replaced, crop the target so your chosen person is the clear subject.
